Tension is the word that defines the production of Tulio Pinto. In his installations, materials such as concrete, iron sheet and glass are supported by jersey (fabric) or steel cables, through the relationship between weight, size and density ofmaterials that can balance the pieces. Thus, the poetics of its production is aligned with the inherent characteristics of the media, materials, weight, stiffness, elasticity and brittleness.

Tensão é a palavra que define a produção de Tulio Pinto. Em suas instalações materiais como concreto, chapas de ferro e vidros são sustentados por elancas ou cabos de aço, através da relação entre pesos, densidades e tamanhos desses materiais que se consegue o equilíbrio das peças. Assim, a poética de sua produção vai de encontro com as características inerentes aos suportes-materiais; peso, rigidez, elasticidade e fragilidade.
